Cassie & Robert | Engagement | Downtown Jacksonville

I'm not sure who was more excited about this shoot... my couple or me! I was honored to photograph this engagement shoot. The soon-to-be bride I've known since the 4th grade and have some of the best childhood memories with and the soon-to-be groom I've known since middle school and grew up with his sister! I love both of their families and I'm so excited they they will soon be one!

Cassie & Robert are so perfect for eachother! Their admiration and love for one another is so sweet and they both have the best sense of humor. I swear its a match made in heaven! I knew this shoot was going to be filled with laughter.

The day could not of been prettier and the weather was so nice. Cassie and Rovert met at a Jaguar game, so it was only fitting to start off the session in front of the Everbank Stadium. ;) 

I loved photographing these two!

Amanda said, "YES!" - Proposal Jacksonville Zoo

This was the sweetest proposal! Matt had it all planned out. It was a bright and beautiful afternoon at the zoo. I staked out in the bushes at the penguin exhibit until Amanda and Matt arrived. I know I looked silly... the kids playing nearby agreed. But hey, its part of the job! :)

I don't know if Matt was nervous, but I was anxious for him! Anxious with excitement for sure. I think it's because in that one moment, your life and relationship takes that next exciting step. I couldn't wait to document it! As you can see in the photos, Amanda's smile was priceless and the two of them were gleaming with happiness!

Riverside Maternity Session - Foster Family

The special part about my job is documenting every family's unique story! 

I've known Brooke since highschool, and I was SO thrilled to photograph her and Cameron's Riverside maternity sesh! During their shoot, it was my opportunity to learn about their little family and about expecting their first baby. The neatest thing is they didn't know if they were having a Boy or Girl! They wanted it to be a surprise, and I immediately joined in on the suspense! 

I loved this session and photographing these two... oh I mean three! Their furbaby joined us, and she is quite photogenic! I'm a fan of furbabies, being I have two of my own, so families who include their furbabies are pretty awesome in my book! ;)

  Brooke and Cameron's love for each other is sooo sweet and I'm excited to announce that they had their baby... BOY! :) 

Congratulations to Brooke and Cameron and all the family on baby Knox. He is so so handsome and just the sweetest thing ever!

Family of Three turns into Four (Maternity)

I've been so busy, I need to get caught up on blogging! 

I had the honor of photographing my dear friend Amanda, her son Buddy and her little Victor (who was in her belly). It was the first time I met Buddy and I was overwhelmed with excitement. I've known Amanda since 6th grade, and it's amazing where our lives have been and have taken us! Life gets so busy, and it's so great to know we can just pick up where we left off. 

She was glowing! We had fun, and I'm glad to know the photo session was "painless." 

(Those were Amanda's words).

I try to make them fun and laughter is usually a must with ALL my shoots!

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Amanda, her husband Phillip, little Buddy and all of the family on both sides. Little Victor made his appearance a little early and I can't wait to meet him!!
