"Fun in the Sand"

Some things never change. Like Jennifer's funny personality and laugh. I was so excited to see her after all these years and meet her two beautiful children... finally! :) They are just as funny and cute as her. I just love them.

She wanted to get some neat shots of her and the kids at the beach. So, we ventured out to Ponte Vedra where it would be secluded. We practically had most of the beach to ourselves!

I really love this shots... They are such a fun family, and I was able to capture it in these photos. On the ride back home, Chandler says, "Corie, you're funny." I took that as a compliment. I assume he had a good time. :)

"Prom Paparazzi"

Ahhh... Junior Prom. What a good time. I'm remembering that lime green Jessica McClintock dress and those silver, clear shoes... Yes, clear shoes. lol.

I had the opportunity to relive prom by helping Mariah, my sister-law, with her Junior Prom... First it was dress shopping... then the shoes... then accessories... we practiced the hair a couple of times to make sure she was set on a "half-up do." I must of been a hair dresser in my past life, or maybe just learned enough techniques from my amazing hairdresser. I was impressed with my own hair styling capabilities. 

When the day came, it all worked out and Mariah looked stunning! All the couples were escorted in a bright white limo to the park where the parents could play paparazzi. I'm not a parent, but a proud sister in-law and I got my hand in that picture taking as well. :)

"Braddock"

I met Erica back before Jesse and I got married in 2008. She is such an encourager and a true joy to be around! With her upbeat and positive attitude,  I have always been inspired by her strong walk with God. I was thrilled to hear her and Clayton were having Braddock! With my move to Atlanta, I wasn't able to meet him when he arrived to this world. Now I'm back in Jacksonville, I was thrilled to finally meet him and photograph his handsome personality! 

What a fun photo shoot! What better way to celebrate spring time and Easter, with bunnies and colored eggs... or Braddock would say "ball!" Even with the last minute changes on the weather and locations, it worked out perfect! I also was able to get some sweet photos of Erica, Braddock and baby brother who is on the way. :)

"Sawyer"

I had the opportunity to photograph Sawyer, and wow how handsome is he! He's the youngest son of a special friend of mine. I am so happy I got a chance to spend some quality time with her and to meet her little man before they move. 

We decided to make it a beach day, and Sawyer had some fun with pinwheels! I love these shots, you can tell he is such a thinker. :)

Happy 2nd birthday, Sawyer. 

"Kate"

Kate has this whimsical spirit and warm heart that I wanted to capture in her pictures. She also has this rustic style, that I always adored. Growing up, we were always very different in styles. I love high heels, she prefers flip flops. Although our styles are very different, we are very much a like. When the two of us get together, there is never a dull moment!  

Kate, thanks for the laughs. I love you!

Kate's serious look didn't work as well. It quickly turned into a laugh. :)
